Red, White and Blue-blood.

As the crow flies, Little Compton is only 4 miles from the mansions of Newport that share the same craggy Rhode Island coastline.  The mindset, however, is a million miles away.

Moss covered stone fences, working farms and glittering ponds make this an authentic and undiscovered New England destination.   Surfboards stand propped up like colorful soldiers along the sides of gray shingled beach houses.  Without a doubt, the local favorite potpourri must be seaweed intermingled with a hefty dose of sea salt.

The summertime population, many of whom can trace thier ancestry to the birth of this country,  doggedly guard and protect  their little paradise.   There is real elegance to be found in this ruggedly romantic destination with it’s perfect Yankee sensibility.  Just keep it a secret.
